3 Horses Flex Equine is a 100% natural nutritional supplement, formulated for feeding to horses with impaired joint function. It helps to maintain cartilage elasticity and aids in the repair of damaged cartilage.
The active ingredients include Glucosamine, mixed Glycosaminoglycans, Manganese Ascorbate, Copper Chelate and Zinc Chelate as well as mixed Amino-Acids.
Glucosamine is the major structural component of Chondroitin Sulphate, the principle Glycosaminoglycan (GAG) in cartilage. It is the GAGs that maintain the high water content of cartilage and hence its ability to resist the compressive forces during weight bearing. When the joints need more Glucosamine, as always happens in degenerative joint disease, the body is unable to speed up production because it is set at a fixed rate. Therefore a supplementary form of Glucosamine is beneficial. The body is able to absorb the Glucosamine and use it directly in the joints to repair and maintain the cartilage. The mixed Glycosaminoglycans include Chondroitin Sulphate and Keratin Sulphate. Both these are used in the cartilage repair process. The Manganese Ascorbate is necessary for the conversion of the Glucosamine to GAGs to occur.
Note Glucosamine alone is not effective - it needs to be in a formulation that ensures the required dose is not absorbed by the liver, but reaches the cartilage.
Copper and Zinc are important trace elements that are essential for cartilage repair and maintenance. 3 Horses Flex-Equine uses these minerals in their chelated form, which means they are absorbed quickly and efficiently from the gut.
The mixed amino-acids include high levels of Glycine and Proline, both of which are important components of collagen, the protein found in the cartilage matrix.
The nutritional supplementation of Glucosamine should be given whenever impaired joint function limits performance. Degenerative joint disease (or osteo-arthritis) is the most common cause of impaired joint function.

3 Horses Flex-Equine Athlete, a liquid formulation, is a 100% natural nutritional supplement, formulated for feeding to horses with impaired joint function. It helps to maintain cartilage and aids in the repair of damaged cartilage. It is a joint nutriceutical used extensively in equine sports practice containing Glucosamine, Glycosaminoglycans (including Chondroitin Sulphate), Amino Acids, Chelated Manganese, Copper and Zinc. 3 Horses Flex Equine Athlete provides 12,000mg of Glucosamine Sulphate per recommended daily dose. This is easily absorbed from the stomach and small intestine before being transported to the chondrocytes in the cartilage where it boosts production of Hyaluronic Acid and Chondroitin Sulphate. Products containing Glutamine instead of Glucosamine are broken down by the liver and only low levels may reach the cartilage. The minerals are included in an easily absorbable chelated form - Manganese is an essential part of the enzyme involved in the synthesis of Chondroitin Sulphate – Zinc is an important part of the enzyme that controls the laying down of cartilage protein – Copper is part of the enzyme that controls cartilage collagen production – Sulphur plays an important part in the biosynthesis of Glucosamine and collagen. 3 Horses Flex Equine Athlete should be used whenever impaired joint function limits performance. Nasal Eze
3 Horses Nasal-Eze is an effective product for horses where upper respiratory tract infections are a problem. It is a 100% natural product and contains Menthol and four Volatile Oils in an anhydrous base.
Menthol gives a cooling sensation to irritated nasal membranes and also helps clear the airways and bronchial passages.
Eucalyptus Oil is a useful expectorant, increasing the amount of respiratory secretions, while at the same time exhibiting an anti-bacterial effect.
Tee Tree Oil is also an anti-bacterial agent, but has the added benefit of an anti-fungal action. It is able to maintain this activity in the presence of nasal secretions and also has a soothing action on the nasal membranes.
Oil of Thyme has a significant anti-fungal effect due to the Thymol content
Pine oil possesses mild antiseptic properties.
These oils are formulated in a non-irritant anhydrous base that makes application to the inner nostril easy and safe.
3 Horses Nasal-Eze is recommended for horses suffering from upper respiratory tract infections. A liberal amount should be applied twice daily to the inside of each nostril. It is also useful whenever horses are likely to pick up such infections.
It should be used before transportation, when staying in temporary or unknown stabling, and anytime a horse is exposed to dusty or fungal spore conditions. It is a totally natural product and can be used prior to and during competition or racing.

Respiratory Relief
3 Horses Virex is a 100% natural therapeutic product for horses to aid in the relief of symptoms associated with viral respiratory infections.
Viral respiratory infections are extremely common in horses. They are a major cause of respiratory disease and poor performance. They cause irritation and inflammation of the upper and lower respiratory tract, leading to the symptoms of nasal discharge, persistent cough and louder than normal respiration during exercise (‘thick winded').
Early recognition and treatment is important to ensure a fast, uncomplicated recovery. Two important parts of the treatment program are the avoidance of stress (which means keeping the horse rested and warm) and the alleviation of the symptoms.
3 Horses Virex works in three ways:
* By reducing the viscosity of the mucus that block the
airways.
* As an expectorant.
* By soothing and relieving the respiratory tracts.
The Liquorice Extract contains Glycyrrhetinic Acid, soothing the airways and thereby reducing the frequency and intensity of coughing.
Potassium Iodide and Anise Oil are both good expectorants, while Ammonium Chloride breaks the thick mucus secretions down, allowing them to flow up the 'respiratory tree' and out the nostrils.
3 Horses Virex can also be used when other factors such as dust, allergies or bacterial infections produce irritation of the respiratory tract.
3 Horses Virex contains no prohibited substances so it can be used before and during competition. It is palatable and easy to administer via an oral dosing syringe. Continue for 10-12 days or until horse shows signs of recovery. If the condition persists consult a veterinarian.

Massage into tired legs and muscles after strenuous exercise.
ALOE COOL GEL contains aloe-vera, tea tree oil, menthol and camphor. Its cooling and soothing action provides quick relief to tired tendons and muscles. It also stimulates the local circulation, dispersing minor swellings and bruises. Its cooling action is beneficial when used as a pre-competition liniment. It has an anti-bacterial action so can be applied over minor grazes and scratches. Repeat as necessary. Contains no prohibited substances Available in 500ml size only.
