Equifix Repair Cream

Equifix Repair Cream is topical application using the powerful healing properties of emu oil.  It contains a high  percentage of high quality emu oil which is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and therefore very suitable for wounds and various skin conditions.

Emu oil was discovered by the Aborigines many thousands of years ago.  It has been utilised in Aboriginal culture as an antiseptic, analgesic and nutrient. Emu oil was used by them for joint aches and pains, sunburn, as a moisturiser and to encourage skin repair. 

Emu oil has been discovered to be bacteriostatic, which means that it does not promote the growth of bacteria, it is also hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic (low skin irritation and does not clog pores).  From a veterinary aspect emu oil provides a pharmaceutical free, economic, natural option in the treatment of wounds, scar tissue and fungal skin conditions.  It may be used on scar formations utilising it's ability to promote normal tissue formation with 15% better collagen rejuvenation.

Equifix Leg Tightener

Whether your horse is ridden competitively or for pleasure, the stresses that the tendons and ligaments in the lower limb are exposed to are significant.  It is accepted that galloping and jumping put a large strain on these soft tissue structures often leading to injury. Low impact exercise also, like dressage and endurance, provides cyclical strain on the tendons and ligaments, especially in the periods of suspension like passage and extended trot.  Cyclical injury can create chronic tendon fibre damage often leading to low grade pain and lack of elasticity in the tendon or ligament.  This can result in loss of movement or poor performance.  In short, supple, elastic soft tissue structures are stronger and less susceptible to injury.  Therefore the horse will perform better and for longer.

Any exercise creates heat and oxidants in the tendons as they work.  The collagen fibres that make up the tendons will disintegrate at temperatures greater than 42 degrees Celsius.  It has been shown in a number of research studies that jumping and galloping work will increase the tendon core temperature to critical temperature.  The by-products of aerobic exercise or oxidants stay in the tendon the more damage done to the fibres.

This is a penetrating liniment to aid in the recovery from injury to muscle, soft tissue and joints. It is also useful to create relief after a strenuous workout. The ingredients are all natural and do not contravene any sporting regulations.

Deep Down Heat does not lay on the skin providing only topical relief, its unique penetrating formula very quickly passes through the skin, taking all the active ingredients deep into the tissues, reducing inflammation and stimulating a healing response.

The product contains a careful balance of Arnica, menthol, camphor, the highest grade emu oil and capsaicin.

As it is an active liniment, care should be taken not to go too close to eyes and  sensitive tender skin areas.  It is advisable to wash hands after use , although not harmful an uncomfortable sensation may occur if allowed on these areas.

Some exfoliation may occur as the product passes through the skin, just wipe away.
