Wrap

Plast
Elastic Bandage thats extra sticky. Self adhesive, pourous and breathable. The elastic tape that stretches around uneven areas so is ideal for bandaging wounds in difficult areas.

The bandage that stretches in both directions. Made of elastic and 100% cotton. For bandaging legs, joints, tendons and hard to bandage areas. Machine washable and long lasting for reusable use.
PBT Bandages
Side Woven Conform Stretch bandages. Ideal for under cast padding. Ideal for wound dressing. Extra strong and stretches both ways.

Non Woven Fabric, Extra thick and extra strong. Sterile for immediate use. Ideal for bandaging all types of injuries also ideal for bandaging post surgery and for box bandaging.

Cotton Wool
Top quality cotton wool roll. Extra thick and unrolls easily. Suitable for cleaning wounds and washing animals for breeding. Easy to tear from the roll.
Swabs
Non Woven Gauze Swabs. Sterile or non sterile packing. For use in absorption of body fluids during surgery or wound dressing.
Paraffin Gauze
Non Stick Paraffin Gauze squares perfect for dressing wounds. Ideal for open wounds to prevent the dressing and bandages from sticking to the open wound.
Hoof Poultice
Easy to use Hoof shaped all purpose poultice and wound dressing pad.
Instant first aid for feet – economical and easy to use – a must have in the stable, float or truck and in your equine first aid box.
Each pack contains three hoof shaped poultices and should be applied at the first signs of tenderness or bruising.
Directions for use:
Wet the pad with boiled water cooled to 38 C (100 F). When saturated squeeze out excess water. Apply when still warm to the sole with plastic away from the foot (test the temperature on the back of your hand first to ensure it is not too hot). Hold in place with a Mediisportz Wrap, of if in the paddock Medisportz Plast bandage. Make sure some padding is placed around the heels so that the bandage will not be tight enough to restrict blood flow.
Cold Dressing:
As above but use cold water, or can also be applied chilled after refrigeration.
Dry Dressing:
Apply as above without soaking.

Cool Gel Pads
Ice Cool Gel Pads, great for reducing inflammation.
The easy answer to first aid: cooling any area of the horse or human. The first response to an injury should be to cool the area.
Ice is often not available and can be difficult to place over the point of injury. It can also be damaging to the surrounding tissue.
Cool Gel Pads are instantly cold, and adhere to the skin. That makes them very useful for areas that cannot be bandaged. Although they feel sticky, they can be removed (and replaced in the foil pack) without removing any hair or leaving any residue on the skin.
They can be used over wounds with the Medisportz sterile dressing underneath. They have been used by veterinarians for recovery of the surgical site after operations.
The cooling effect lasts for eight hours. If this time is not used up, the pad should be put back in the foil bag, sealed and can be used again until the eight hours are all utilised. This makes them ideal for hot and cold fomentation. The fact that no refrigeration is necessary makes them an ideal item for every first aid kit, trucks, and cars, at any venue that has human and equine sporting fixtures.
